MADISON - Jan 9/07 - SNS -- Markets for distillers grains for Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota were updated by the USDA today.
Wisconsin - Eastern Minnesota Distillers Grains
Prices dollars per ton, FOB plant
Compared to last week, Dried Distillers Grains weak to 5.00 lower; Modified Wet
Distillers were firm to 8.00 higher and Wet Distillers were firm to 3.00
higher.
Dried Distillers Grain: 10% moisture, 115.00-130.00.
Modified Wet Distillers, 50-55% moisture, 39.00-48.00
Wet Distillers Grain, 65-70% moisture, 35.00-40.00.
Note: Protein content 25-27% for most distiller grains on a dry matter basis.
Wet Distillers Grain is a non-dried product.
Modified Wet Distillers Grain is a partially dried product.
