WASHINGTON - Jun 30/20 - SNS -- Area seeded to oats for the 2020 crop year in the U.S. is estimated at 3.1 million acres, up 12% from 2019, according to the USDA's seeded area estimate for 2020.
Planted acreage is up or unchanged in 19 of the 23 major producing States compared with last year. Area for harvest, forecast at 998,000 acres, is up 21% from 2019.
