WASHINGTON - Mar 31/20 - SNS -- Flaxseed growers in the United States intend to plant 270,000 acres of flaxseed in 2020, 28% less than was planted in 2019, according to the USDA.
Acreage in North Dakota, the largest flaxseed-producing State, is expected to be down 31%, or 85,000 acres from 2019.
