Spain's Soybean Imports Record A Better Performance
PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- Imports of soybeans by Spain advanced compared to the previous month in February, recent data from Eurostat shows.
Total imports for the month amounted to 283,286 metric tons (MT), up 8% from the previous month's total of 262,327. So far imports have totalled 545,613 MT, down from 575,869 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The biggest export origin for the month was United States, selling 281,026 MT. Togo was the second most important supplier selling 1,044 MT, followed by India at 990 MT.
