Field Pea Imports From Pakistan Reveal Improved Result
PANAMA3 - Jan 17/19 - SNS -- Pakistan's imports of field peas during June jumped versus the previous month, according to data from Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Imports totalled 46,583 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 22% from the 202 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 107,373 MT, compared to 206,874 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Russia was the largest supplier during the month, selling 35,316 MT. Ukraine was the second most important shipper shipping 9,450 MT, followed by Latvia at 1,397 MT.
