Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 22/18 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure extends across the south of the continent and a cold front is approaching Tasmania. The cold front will cross the Tasman Sea over the weekend with little effect on New South Wales which will be dominated by the high pressure ridge through to next week. An upper level disturbance is expected to lead to a developing trough over the state mid-week.
Forecast for the rest of FridayFine and mostly clear. Light winds.Saturday 23 JuneFine and mostly sunny. Areas of morning fog and frost. Daytime temperatures a little above average in the north and near or a little below average in the south. Light southwest to southerly winds.Sunday 24 JuneFine and mostly sunny apart from the slight chance of a shower along the northern half of the coast. Areas of morning fog and frost. Daytime temperatures near or below average. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresher on the south coast.Monday 25 JuneA few showers on the north coast, mostly in the far north. Fine elsewhere after areas of morning fog and frost. Daytime temperatures near average in the east and below average in the west. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 26 JuneShowers in the north, mostly about the northeast corner. Fine elsewhere after areas of morning fog and frost. Daytime temperatures near average in the east and below average in the west. Light winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 am EST Saturday.Product IDN10031
