Weather Situation A high over the Nullarbor Plain will move eastwards over northern parts of the State. Weak fronts are expected to move across southern coasts on Wednesday and Saturday. Forecast for the rest of TuesdayEarly frost and fog patches in the east. A slight chance of showers about the southern agricultural area, more likely about southern coasts and ranges. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north. Light and variable winds, tending moderate westerly in the south, fresh about southern coasts.Wednesday 23 AugustEarly fog patches over Eyre Peninsula and the Mount Lofty Ranges. Early frost patches in the northern agricultural area and south of the pastoral districts. A slight chance of showers over the northern agricultural area and a medium to high chance over the southern agricultural area. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north. Light winds, tending moderate westerly in the south, fresh about southern coasts, then turning southerly during the afternoon and evening.Thursday 24 AugustEarly fog patches over the agricultural area and far south of the Northwest Pastoral. Early frost patches on and east of the ranges. A slight chance of showers south of about Adelaide. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north. Light to moderate southerly winds, tending southwesterly south of about Adelaide.Friday 25 August A medium chance of showers in the far northwest. A slight chance of showers south of about Gawler. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north. Light and variable winds, tending moderate westerly about southern coasts. Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Friday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, reaching 5 to 15 mm about Kangaroo Island, Mount Lofty Ranges and the Lower South East. Less than 2 mm over the northern agricultural area and far northwest. Saturday until MondayA slight chance of showers in the far northwest on Saturday.
