MELBOURNE - May 25/17 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow moving high pressure system lies over the state. The next cold front is expected to cross the state on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayMostly sunny. Early frost patches about the northern tablelands and local morning fogs in the east. South to southwesterly winds.Friday 26 MayMostly sunny apart from the slight chance of showers on the south coast. Early frost about the northern ranges, and patchy morning fog in the east. Light winds.Saturday 27 MayMostly sunny apart from the slight chance of showers on the far north coast. Early frost patches about the tablelands, and areas of morning fog in the east. North to northwesterly winds.Sunday 28 MayModerate chance of showers in the southeastern inland increasing to high chance on the Alps with the chance of snow showers above 1800 metres overnight. Slight chance of showers on the northern ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwesterly winds turning southwesterly in the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Thursday.Product IDN10031
