USDA Sets December Interest Rates

WASHINGTON - Dec 1/16 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) set interest rates for December 2016.

The CCC borrowing rate-based charge for December is 0.750%, up from 0.625% in November.

The interest rate for crop year commodity loans less than one year disbursed during December is 1.750%, up from 1.625% in November.

Interest rates for Farm Storage Facility Loans approved for December are as follows, 1.125% with three-year loan terms, up from 1.000% in November; 1.375% with five-year loan terms, up from 1.250% in November; 1.750% with seven-year loan terms, up from 1.500% in November; 2.000% with 10-year loan terms, up from 1.750% in November and; 2.000% with 12-year loan terms, up from 1.750% in November The interest rate for 15-year Sugar Storage Facility Loans for December is 2.125%, up from 1.875% in November.
