MELBOURNE - Oct 23/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A strong high pressure system over southeastern Australia is slowly moving east.The high will move over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday and then it will continue to move east maintaining a ridge northeastern New South Wales. The next cold front is expected to cross the state during Thursday. Forecast for the rest of MondayFine and mostly sunny apart from the slight chance of an early shower near the central coast. Early frost patches on the ranges. Southeast to southwest winds, tending northeasterly in the northeast later.Tuesday 25 OctoberFine and mostly sunny. Light winds tending northeast to northwesterly.Wednesday 26 OctoberSlight chance of showers in the far south. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. North to northwesterly winds turning turning south to southwesterly in the south.Thursday 27 OctoberMedium to high chance of showers in the east. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere.
