Marrowfat Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/16 - STAT -- Canadian Marrowfat Pea markets finished the 2015-16 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 7% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Marrowfat Pea was CDN$358.92 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $385.83 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $389.48 per MT in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $344.01 per MT in July.
