Green Pea Interest Rises
PANAMA - Jun 4/16 - SNS -- International field pea markets maintained their relatively firm tone against ongoing demand and tight stocks.
Yellow peas have been at a premium to greens for several months and that, combined with tight stocks in most origins, is now seeing some demand switch into green.
This has added some support to grower bids for green peas in both Canada and the United States and closed the gap in export markets.
