Weather Situation A strong high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is very slowly moving east, maintaining a ridge across New South Wales. The ridge will gradually weaken as the high moves further east allowing a cold front to cross the state during Sunday. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent ranges. Early morning fog patches in the east. Fine elsewhere with northeast to northwest winds.Friday 29 AprilShowers developing over the west during the day, tending to rain over the central southern parts. Isolated showers over the far north coast and fine, partly cloudy elsewhere. Early fog patches in the east. Northeast to northwest winds, freshening in the west.Saturday 30 AprilRain or showers mostly in central parts and the southwest. Chance of thunderstorms in the west.
