France Field Pea Sales Sink in December
PARIS - Feb 13/16 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France sank in December, according to data compiled by Terres Univia.
Export shipments during the month totalled 6,070 metric tons (MT), down 84% from the 37,285 MT shipped the previous month, and down 54% from the 13,265 MT shipped the same month last year.
Despite the drop, season to date shipments remain well above last season, jumping from 58,785 to 159,470 MT for the six months spanning July through December.
