Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 7/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1023 hPa south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards and weaken, ahead of another high developing southwest of the Bight on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from the slight chance of a shower in the far northeast of the State, clearing in the evening. Mild to warm about southern and western coasts, grading to hot inland. Moderate south to southeast winds, fresh about the coasts and southern ranges.Monday 8 FebruaryFine apart from the chance of morning drizzle about the south of Fleurieu Peninsula. Mild to warm about southern and western coasts, grading to hot to very hot inland. Moderate southeasterly winds, fresh about the coasts and southern ranges.Tuesday 9 FebruaryFine. Mild to warm about southern and western coasts, grading to hot to very hot inland. Mainly moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, fresh about the coasts and southern ranges early morning. Moderate afternoon coastal sea breezes.Wednesday 10 February
Fine. Mild to warm about southern and western coasts, grading to hot to very hot inland. Light to moderate south to southeast winds, freshening about the coasts during the afternoon.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Sunday are expected to be less than 1 mm in the northeast of the State. No rainfall is expected over the remainder of the State through to midnight on Wednesday.
Thursday 11 February
Fine apart from the slight chance of showers near southern coasts, mainly in the morning. Mild to warm about the coasts grading to hot in the far north. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 2 mm.
Friday until SundayA slight chance of a morning shower about the Lower South East coast Friday, then developing about the far west and southern coasts Saturday evening and extending across all coastal districts on Sunday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
