U.S. National Weekly Rice Summary

LITTLE ROCK - Mar 16/15 - SNS -- The latest weekly rice market summary for the United States was released by the USDA today.

                             Domestic Trend
   In the south, long and medium grain milled rice prices steady.  Parboiled,
Second heads and Brewers steady.  Rice by-products:  rice bran, millfeed and
ground rice hulls steady.
   In California, medium grain milled rice prices steady.  Second heads and Brewers
steady.  Rice by-products:  rice bran prices steady; rice hull prices not full
established.  Drought conditions exist throughout the state.  Depending on the water
outcome, the market could move either direction.
   CME Rough Rice settlements for Friday Mar 13th, May closed .10 lower at 10.58; Jly
closed .095 lower at 10.83.  US dollar index on Friday settled at 100.18.
