Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 21/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure in the far west will move slowly east across the State today and Monday. A high pressure system will develop to the south of the Bight later on Monday, and then move slowly eastwards during the week.
Forecast for the rest of SundaySlight chance of showers and thunderstorms over areas south of about Coober Pedy to Broken Hill, chiefly in the afternoon and evening. Hot to very hot ahead of a milder southerly change in the west extending over southern coasts in the afternoon and evening.Monday 23 FebruarySlight chance of showers and thunderstorms, except in the north of the Pastoral districts, contracting eastwards during the day, clearing during the evening. Patchy rain over the North West Pastoral north of about Marla. Milder over the agricultural area and in the west with moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds, but remaining hot to very hot further north with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 24 FebruaryThe chance of patchy rain in the northwest of Coober Pedy, fine elsewhere. Mild to warm about the coasts grading to hot to very hot in the northeast.Wednesday 25 February
Slight chance of patchy rain northwest of Fowler's Bay to Coober Pedy, fine elsewhere. Mild to warm about the coasts grading to hot to very hot in the north.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be generally less than 1 mm, possibly reaching 2 to 5 mm with the patchy rain in the northwest and with thunderstorms.
Thursday until SaturdayThe slight chance of showers. Warm in the south grading to hot in the north with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
