Weather Situation A trough of low pressure and associated milder change will move across the western border later Saturday, then continue over western and southern districts on Sunday. A high will develop to the south of the Bight on Monday, and then move slowly east to be centred southwest of Tasmania later Wednesday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayDry. Hot with moderate northeasterly winds, ahead of a milder southerly change developing in the far west during the late afternoon and evening.Sunday 15 FebruaryDry and hot to very hot with moderate to fresh northeast to northwesterly winds, ahead of a southerly change extending from the west, reaching a line from Coober Pedy to Broken Hill late evening. The slight chance of showers and possible thunderstorms developing with the change over the agricultural area, West Coast and south of the pastoral districts.Monday 16 FebruaryThe slight chance of showers and possible thunderstorms about the Flinders Ranges and pastoral districts south of about Coober Pedy. Possible early drizzle about far southern coasts. Mild about southern coasts grading to very hot in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts.Tuesday 17 FebruaryFine apart from the slight chance of afternoon thundery showers northeast of about Broken Hill to Woomera to Ernabella. Possible early drizzle about far southern coasts. Mild about southern coasts grading to very hot in the far north. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts.Wednesday 18 February Fine apart from the slight chance of afternoon thundery showers over the North East Pastoral to the north of about Broken Hill to Leigh Creek. Mild about southern coasts grading to hot in the far north. Light to moderate southeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 1 mm, with the chance of isolated falls of 1 to 5 mm in the north and east associated with thunderstorms. Thursday until SaturdayFine apart from the slight chance of showers extending over eastern districts from the north, then becoming confined to the far northeast on Saturday.
