Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 7/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Tasman sea is slow moving. A weak trough about western and southern coasts will move northeastwards overnight and on Sunday. Another high will move to south of Bight on Sunday, reaching the area to the southeast of Tasmania by Tuesday, ahead of another weak trough moving over the south on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayDry. Hot to very hot, but becoming milder near southern and western coasts. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds.Sunday 8 FebruaryThe chance of light drizzle about southern coasts early morning, otherwise dry. Mild near southern coasts, grading to hot to very hot over the Pastoral and Flinders districts. Moderate northeasterly winds, ahead of a moderate to fresh south to southeasterly wind change over the agricultural area and in the west, extending northwards during the day.Monday 9 FebruaryDry. Mild near southern coasts, grading to hot to very hot over the Pastoral and Flinders districts. Mainly moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 10 FebruaryDry. Warm near southern coasts, grading to very hot in the far north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Wednesday 11 February
Dry apart from the chance of light drizzle about the Lower South East coast after midday. Warm near southern coasts, grading to very hot in the far north. Moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, becoming fresh southeasterly near the coasts during the afternoon.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be insignificant.
Thursday until SaturdayContinuing dry. Warm about southern coasts at first, but becoming hot to very hot throughout by the weekend.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
