Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 6/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Tasman sea is slow moving. A weak trough about western coasts on Saturday morning will move northeastwards during Saturday and Sunday. Another high will move to south of Bight on Sunday, reaching the area to the southeast of Tasmania by Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayMorning thundery showers east of the Mount Lofty Ranges, contracting the the southeast and clearing by early afternoon. Hot to very hot with fresh northerly winds, tending moderate southerly in the west during the morning and extending to the agricultural area late afternoon or evening.Sunday 8 FebruaryThe chance of light drizzle about southern coasts early morning, otherwise dry. Mild near southern coasts, grading to hot to very hot over the Pastoral and Flinders districts. Moderate northeasterly winds, ahead of a moderate to fresh south to southeasterly wind change in the south and west, extending northwards during the day.Monday 9 FebruaryDry. Warm near southern coasts, grading to hot to very hot over the Pastoral and Flinders districts. Mainly moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 10 February
Dry. Hot generally grading to very hot in the far north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Tuesday are expected to be insignificant.
Wednesday until FridayDry on Wednesday. The slight chance of a shower over parts of the southern agricultural area on Thursday and Friday. Warm to hot grading to very hot in the far north and west.
