Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 4/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1029 hPa south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards, to be centred over the Tasman Sea by Friday. A weak trough will develop about western coasts on Saturday morning and move northeastwards during Saturday and Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayFine. Mild to warm about the coasts, warm to hot inland. Light to moderate southeast to easterly winds, fresh to strong and gusty about the ranges during the early morning. Fresh coastal sea breezes in the afternoon and early eveningFriday 6 FebruaryFine apart from the slight chance of afternoon or evening thundery showers over eastern parts of the North East Pastoral and Flinders Districts. Warm to hot with southeast to northeasterly winds.Saturday 7 FebruaryFine and hot. Fresh northerly winds tending moderate southerly in in the west.Sunday 8 February
The chance of showers about exposed southern coasts during the morning, otherwise fine. Warm about coastal areas, grading to hot to very hot inland. Moderate northeasterly winds. A southerly change in the south and west in the morning, extending to central parts of the State by the evening.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Sunday are expected to be less than 1 mm.
Monday until WednesdayDry. Warm to hot near southern coasts, grading to hot to very hot elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Thursday.Product IDS10033
