MELBOURNE - Feb 1/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1030 hPa south of the western Bight will move very slowly eastwards during this week. Forecast for the rest of MondayFine apart from the slight chance of morning showers about the southern coasts and ranges. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong at times about western and southern coasts and the northern Gulf coasts in the afternoon and evening.Tuesday 3 FebruaryFine. Mild to warm over the agricultural area grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh about the coasts and southern ranges.Wednesday 4 FebruaryFine apart from the slight chance of a shower over the southern coasts and ranges. Cool to mild in the south, grading to hot in the north. Moderate southeasterly winds, fresh about the coasts and southern ranges.Thursday 5 February Fine. Mild to warm about the coasts, warm to hot inland. Light to moderate southeast to easterly winds and fresh coastal sea breezes. Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 1 mm near southern coasts and ranges, possibly reaching 2 mm about southern Fleurieu Peninsula. Friday until SundayFine apart from the chance of showers in the northeast interior on Friday. Becoming hot throughout on Friday and very hot in the north on Sunday ahead of a milder change about southern and western parts over the weekend.
