Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 31/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high southwest of the Bight combined with a deep low in the Tasman Sea, are directing a southeasterly airstream over South Australia. The low will weaken and move further east on Sunday. The high pressure system will strengthen and move very slowly east during the week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine apart from the slight chance of light showers about southern coasts and in the south of the Lower South East district. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts and southern ranges.Sunday 1 FebruaryFine apart from the slight chance of showers about the coasts south of about Adelaide to Cleve and over the far west coast. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts and southern ranges.Monday 2 FebruaryFine apart from the slight chance of morning showers about the southern and the far western coasts. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts and southern ranges.Tuesday 3 FebruaryFine. Mild to warm over the agricultural area grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh about the coasts and southern ranges.Wednesday 4 February
Fine apart from the slight chance of a shower over the Lower South East south of Mount Gambier. Cool to mild in the south, grading to hot in the north. Moderate southeasterly winds, fresh about the coasts.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 1 mm near southern coasts, possibly reaching 2 mm about southern Fleurieu Peninsula.
Thursday until SaturdayFine Thursday. Becoming hot throughout on Friday with a chance of showers in the northeast interior then dry and hot on Saturday. Light to moderate southeasterly winds, turning northeasterly on Friday and Saturday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
