Weather Situation A high pressure system southwest of Tasmania will weaken and move southeastwards as a new high moves to a position south of the Bight during the weekend. This high with then remain near stationary during the early part of next week. Forecast for the rest of FridayFine. Mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate east to southeasterly winds, tending moderate to fresh southerly during the afternoon and evening.Saturday 31 JanuaryFine apart from a slight chance of isolated showers about far southern coasts. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts and ranges.Sunday 1 FebruaryA slight chance of isolated showers about the southern coasts, and in the far west of the West Coast and North West Pastoral districts. Otherwise fine. Mild to warm over the agricultural area, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, fresh at times near the coasts and ranges.Monday 2 February A slight chance of isolated showers about the southern coasts.
