Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 26/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough over northeastern New South Wales will move west today and weaken tomorrow as a high pressure system moves towards Tasmania extending a ridge along the coast. Another trough is expected to deepen offshore during Thursday with a low developing in it over the southwestern Tasman Sea while a weak ride persist across the state.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayShowers in central and eastern districts, drizzle at first in the southeast. Showers tending more widespread in the the north with moderate falls possible about the northwest slopes and surrounding areas. The chance of thunderstorms over the northern and central inland. Fine and mostly sunny further west. South to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 28 JanuaryShowers in the east, and the chance of showers or thunderstorms in central districts. Mostly fine in the west. Southeasterly winds, freshening along the northern coast.Thursday 29 JanuaryShowers in the eastern districts. Fine in the west. Southeasterly winds, tending southwest to southeasterly and fresh along the coast.Friday 30 JanuaryShowers in the eastern districts as well as parts of the northern and central slopes.
