Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 24/15 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure extends over the south of the State. A weak front will move over southern coasts on Saturday evening. A high will move eastwards south of the State following the front, to be south of Tasmania by Wednesday evening.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayThe slight chance of showers southeast of Cleve to Adelaide in the evening, with a higher chance over southern coasts. Fine elsewhere. Mild in the south grading to hot in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southerly winds, freshening later near the coasts.Sunday 25 JanuaryThe slight chance of showers over the Southern Agricultural Areas and remaining coastal parts, more likely in the Lower South East. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, freshening near the coasts in the afternoon.Monday 26 JanuaryThe slight chance of showers about the central and southern coasts, contracting to the Lower South East Coast in the evening. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild in the south, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, freshening near the coasts in the afternoon.Tuesday 27 JanuaryThe slight chance of showers about southern coasts. Fine elsewhere. Mild in the south, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.Wednesday 28 January
The slight chance of showers about the coast of the Lower Southeast. Fine elsewhere. Mild in the south, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, possibly reaching 2 to 5 mm about the Lower South East coast.
Thursday until SaturdayFine throughout the State, apart from the slight chance of showers about southern coasts on Friday and Saturday. Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
