USDA National Grain Review

ST. JOSEPH - Nov 28/14 - SNS -- The USDA issued its latest weekly national grain market review, covering the period through Nov 28.

WEEKLY NATIONAL GRAIN MARKET REVIEW
   Compared to last week, grain and soybean bids closed the holiday shortened
week higher.  Corn and soybeans have rallied during the record harvest as demand
for corn, soybeans and soybean meal has increased, due to low prices and lack of
farmer selling.  Export demand remains good for corn and with ethanol margins
profitable.  Corn is now 94 percent harvested with soybeans 97 percent
harvested.  Wheat was 5-20 cents higher with sorghum 35 cents higher.  Corn
traded 5-11 cents higher with sorghum 35 cents higher.  Soybeans were 26-34
cents higher.
   WHEAT:  Kansas City US No 1 Hard Red Winter, ordinary protein rail bid was
14-19 cents higher from 7.31 1/4-7.51 1/4 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 Soft
Red winter rail bid was not quoted.  St. Louis truck US No 2 Soft Red Winter
terminal bid was 15-20 cents higher from 5.42-5.62 per bushel.  Minneapolis and
Duluth US No 1 Dark Northern Spring, 14.0 to 14.5 percent protein rail, was 1
3/4 cents lower to 3 1/4 cents higher from 8.27 3/4-8.42 3/4 per bushel.
Portland US Soft White wheat rail was 5 cents higher from 7.02 3/4-7.42 3/4 per
bushel.
   CORN:  Kansas City US No 2 rail White Corn was 4-12 cents higher from 3.77-
3.82 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 truck Yellow Corn was 5-10 cents higher
from 3.48 1/4-3.53 1/4.  Omaha US No 2 truck Yellow Corn was 10-11 cents higher
from 3.63-3.64 per bushel.  Chicago US No 2 Yellow Corn was 2 1/4-10 cents
higher from 3.55 1/4-3.75 1/2 per bushel.  Toledo US No 2 rail Yellow corn was
5-9 cents higher from 3.54 1/4-3.56 1/4 per bushel.  Minneapolis US No 2 Yellow
corn rail was 5 cents higher at 3.33 1/4 per bushel.
   OATS AND BARLEY:  US 2 or Better oats, rail bid to arrive at Minneapolis 20
day was 30 3/4-35 3/4 cents lower from 2.96-3.45 per bushel.  US No 3 or better
rail malting Barley, 70 percent or better plump out of Minneapolis was
steady at 7.35 per bushel.  Portland US 2 Barley, unit trains and Barges-export
was not available.
   SORGHUM:  US No 2 yellow truck, Kansas City was 35 cents higher at 7.02 per
cwt.  Texas High Plains US No 2 yellow sorghum (prices paid or bid to the
farmer, fob elevator) was not available.
   OILSEEDS:  Minneapolis Yellow truck soybeans were 26 1/2 cents higher at 9.92
per bushel.  Illinois Processors US No 1 Yellow truck soybeans were 26 1/2-34
1/2 cents higher from 10.45-10.57 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 Yellow truck
soybeans were 27 1/2 cents higher at 10.32 per bushel.  Illinois 48 percent
Soybean meal, processor rail bid was 30.80 higher from 443.60-466.60 per ton.
Central Illinois Crude Soybean oil processor bid was 56 to 81 points higher from
32.98-35.23 cents per pound.
