Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 25/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is centred over the Bight. A weak trough will pass over the far south of the State today. The high will then move slowly eastwards. A trough of low pressure will develop near the western border on Saturday then move east on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine apart from the chance of showers about the Lower South East during the morning and early afternoon, and a slight chance about southern Kangaroo Island in the afternoon or evening. Cool to mild in the south grading to hot in the north with moderate to fresh southeasterly winds.Thursday 27 NovemberFine. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot inland. Light to moderate southeast to easterly winds, fresh about the coasts during the afternoon.Friday 28 NovemberThe chance of thundery showers developing in the far west during the afternoon or evening. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot inland. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, fresh about the coasts in the afternoon.Saturday 29 November
Thundery showers extending over areas west of about Ceduna to Coober Pedy. Hot with light to moderate east to northeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals through to midnight Saturday are expected to be less than 2 mm increasing to 2 to 5 mm about the Lower South East coast. Falls of up to 10 mm are possible with thunderstorms.
Sunday until TuesdayThe chance of showers extending over most parts on Sunday then contracting to the northern agricultural area and pastoral districts for the remainder of the period. Hot throughout on Sunday, becoming milder about coasts during Monday and Tuesday. Light to moderate northerly winds tending southerly in the west during Monday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Wednesday.Product IDS10033
