MELBOURNE - Nov 24/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front with mild southerly behind is moving through southeastern New South Wales and it will weaken into a trough over the far northeast during Tuesday. Behind the front a high pressure system will move very slowly towards Tasmania on Wednesday strengthening a ridge throughout the state and stabilising conditions by the Friday. The next trough is expected to develop over the far west of the state during Monday. Forecast for the rest of MondayPartly cloudy on the far north coast. Medium to high chance of showers and thunderstorms elsewhere, in the southwest overnight. Mainly northeast to northwesterly winds, turning milder southerly in the west during the day.Tuesday 25 NovemberMedium to high chance of showers in the northeast and on the southern half of the coast and adjacent ranges. The chance of thunderstorms in the northeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
