Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 18/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system will move across Victoria this morning, reaching the north Tasman Sea later in the day. A low pressure trough is expected to reach western Victoria on Thursday morning then gradually cross the State on Thursday. A high pressure system will move over Victoria on Friday to reach the Tasman Sea on Saturday. A low pressure trough will reach western Victoria on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine apart from morning fog patches in the south. Mild to warm in the south, warm to hot in the north. A sunny day with light winds tending moderate northerly in the west and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  Moderate to high.Thursday 20 NovemberScattered showers with possible thunderstorms in the west, extending eastwards during the day. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds ahead of a cooler westerly change in the far west extending to eastern areas by the evening.Friday 21 NovemberIsolated showers in the south and east contracting to the coast and then clearing during the afternoon. Warm in the north, milder in the south with moderate southwest to southerly winds becoming light in the west.Saturday 22 NovemberA warm to hot day with light winds tending northerly ahead of an afternoon southerly change in the west.
