Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 17/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system west of Adelaide will move towards western Victoria today, crossing the State early on Wednesday to reach the north Tasman Sea later on Wednesday. A low pressure trough is expected to reach western Victoria on Wednesday night then gradually cross the State on Thursday. A high pressure system will move over Victoria on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayFine apart from isolated morning showers near the coast. A mild day, mostly sunny in the north but partly cloudy in the south with light to moderate southwesterly winds easing.Fire Danger -  Low to moderate.Wednesday 19 NovemberMorning fog patches in the south. A mild to warm and mostly sunny day. Light winds tending moderate northerly in the west and shifting southwesterly at night over the southwest. Possible showers following the change. Afternoon coastal seabreezes.Thursday 20 NovemberScattered showers with possible thunderstorms in the west, extending eastwards during the day. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northerly wind ahead of a cooler southwesterly change in the far west extending to eastern areas by the evening.Friday 21 NovemberIsolated showers, mainly in the south, contracting to the coast. Possible thunderstorms in the east clearing. Cool to mild with moderate southwest to southerly winds becoming light in the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Tuesday.Product IDV10310
