Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 17/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

A high pressure system over the Bight extends a ridge into New South Wales today. This trough and associated showers and storms is expected to be confined to the northeast by Wednesday as the high shifts east to the Tasman Sea and becomes dominant, bringing a bring a return to warmer northerly winds during the second half of the week. A trough developing in the west later Thursday and moving through Friday is not expected to be strong enough to bring any meaningful rainfall or significant cooling.
