MELBOURNE - Nov 16/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front will cross southern Victoria this morning. A high pressure system over the Bight will move towards western Victoria on Tuesday before crossing the State on Wednesday morning to reach the north Tasman Sea later on Wednesday. A low pressure trough is expected to reach western Victoria on Thursday morning then gradually cross the State later on Thursday. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers, mainly over southern and mountain districts, clearing later in the day. A cool to mild day with moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds.Fire Danger - Low to moderate.Tuesday 18 NovemberIsolated showers near the coast, clearing by the afternoon. A mild day, mostly sunny in the north but some cloud persisting in the south with moderate southwesterly winds.Wednesday 19 NovemberFine. A mild to warm and mostly sunny day. Light winds tending moderate northerly in the west and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Thursday 20 NovemberScattered showers developing in the west during the morning then extending eastwards in the afternoon and evening.
