Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 13/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is located in the Tasman Sea. A low pressure trough will reach southwestern Victoria this evening before progressing across the remainder of the State during Friday. A low pressure system will form near Adelaide on Saturday morning, moving to central Victoria at night. This low will extend across eastern Victoria early Sunday, reaching the central Tasman Sea at night. A high pressure system will develop in the Bight on Monday as a cold front crosses Tasmania.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayA cooler southerly change over the southwest during the evening. Isolated showers possible following the change. Fine in the remainder.Friday 14 NovemberHot at first over the north. A cooler fresh southwest to southerly change progressing from the west early in the morning, across central areas in the late morning and then the east during the afternoon. Isolated showers developing after the change.Fire Danger -  Generally high to very high.Saturday 15 NovemberRain areas extending from the west in the afternoon and evening, reaching the east in the evening. Cool to mild day with light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds.Sunday 16 NovemberRain areas clearing from the east. Cool in the south, mild in the north with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds extending throughout.Monday 17 NovemberIsolated showers in southern and mountain districts, mainly morning.
