Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 12/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1018 hPa is centred east of Tasmania. A trough of low pressure about the far west of the State will move eastwards on Thursday and Friday, finally reaching the far northeast corner on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayA slight chance of thundery showers in the far west. Light winds, tending light to moderate northeast to northwesterly in the north, with milder moderate to fresh southeast to southwesterly winds in the far west of the State.Thursday 13 NovemberA slight chance of showers extending east to be west of Tarcoola to Cape Borda, with showers more likely west of about Fowlers Bay. Chance of isolated thunderstorms west of about Ceduna. Hot to very hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds. A milder southerly change in the far west in the morning, extending eastwards during the day, reaching a line Coober Pedy to Lameroo by late evening.Friday 14 NovemberA chance of thundery showers throughout. Showers more likely southwest of a line about Ernabella to Wudinna. Very hot with fresh northerly winds int the far northeast with a chance of raised dust ahead of a milder, fresh southerly change over most of the State, moving into the North East Pastoral district later during the day.Saturday 15 NovemberA slight chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout, except over the far northeast. Showers increasing to medium chance southwest of about Coober Pedy to Keith. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh east to southeasterly winds, tending southwest to northwesterly in the west. Remaining hot with north to northwesterly winds in the far northeast.Sunday 16 November
A chance of showers and thunderstorms about the agricultural area, more likely during the morning. Slight chance of showers elsewhere apart from areas northeast of Marree to Broken Hill mainly in the morning. Generally mild to warm across the State but remaining hot in the far northeast. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Sunday are expected to be 2 to 10 mm with less than 2 mm to the northeast. Isolated falls totalling 10 to 30 mm are possible about the West Coast district and Eyre Peninsula.
Monday until WednesdaySlight chance of a shower about the southern agricultural area, clearing later on Monday. Slight chance of showers developing again in the far west on Tuesday, extending eastwards to a line west of Coober Pedy to Renmark on Wednesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Thursday.Product IDS10033
