Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 11/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high west of Tasmania will move eastwards to be located over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A trough of low pressure will move across the west of the State on Wednesday, then continue eastwards on Thursday and Friday, finally reaching the far northeast corner late Friday evening.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayFine. A mild to warm evening with mainly light southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 12 NovemberA slight chance of thundery showers developing in the far west. Hot, grading to very hot in the north and west. Light to moderate northeast to northwest winds freshening in the far west, ahead of a milder southerly change about western coasts and the far west.Thursday 13 NovemberA chance of thundery showers extending across the west during the day, possibly extending as far east as Coober Pedy, Clare and Keith by midnight. Hot to very hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds, ahead of a milder southerly change, reaching a line Oodnadatta to Renmark late evening.Friday 14 NovemberA chance of thundery showers throughout, except the far northeast of the North East Pastoral district, increasing to a medium chance of rainfall southwest of a line about Coober Pedy to Hawker to Renmark. Very hot with fresh to strong northerly winds and areas of raised dust in the far northeast ahead of a colder, fresh southerly change moving into the North East Pastoral district later in the day.Saturday 15 November
A medium chance of rainfall, and possible thunderstorms, clearing from the North East Pastoral district during the morning. A chance of showers over agricultural areas and southern parts of the Pastoral districts, easing later in the day. Cool to mild southerly winds extending throughout during the day.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Saturday are expected to be 2 to 10 mm with less than 2 mm to the northeast. Isolated falls totalling 10 to 30 mm are possible about the West Coast district and Eyre Peninsula.
Sunday until TuesdayFine apart from a slight chance of showers about southern agricultural areas until later Monday. Cool to mild early in the period with light winds, becoming mild to war throughout as winds turn south to southeasterly next week.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Wednesday.Product IDS10033
