Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 10/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over Bight waters will drift eastwards to lie just west of Tasmania during Tuesday and then just east of Bass Strait on Wednesday before tracking northeastwards over the Tasman Sea on Thursday. The next low pressure trough will reach southwestern Victoria late on Thursday afternoon before progressing across the State overnight and on Friday to reach the far east late on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayFine apart from isolated light showers in the far east. Partly cloudy in the south but clear in the north with cool moderate southerly winds.Tuesday 11 NovemberFine apart from a clearing shower about the East Gippsland coast. Cool to mild in the south with morning cloud and a mostly sunny afternoon. Warmer and sunny north of the divide. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds, freshening with afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  Moderate to high.Wednesday 12 NovemberFine apart from early morning fog patches in the south. A warm and mostly sunny day with light winds and milder afternoon coastal seabreezes.Thursday 13 NovemberFine apart from the chance of late showers over the southwest. A warm to hot and mostly sunny day with mainly moderate northerly winds. A cooler southerly change developing over the southwest late in the afternoon.Friday 14 NovemberHot at first over the east with moderate to fresh northwesterly winds. A cooler fresh southwest to southerly change progressing from the west early in the morning across central areas in the late morning and then the east during the afternoon. Scattered showers developing after the change.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Tuesday.Product IDV10310
