Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 8/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough will reach eastern Victoria tonight. A high pressure system over the Bight will extend a ridge across southern Victoria on Sunday, then a cold front will cross Tasmania and eastern Bass Strait early on Monday. The high pressure system will then progress eastwards, moving across Bass Strait during Tuesday to the Tasman Sea on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayA cooler gusty southwesterly change over central areas extending to the east this evening. Isolated showers to follow over southern districts. Areas of raised dust in the northwest.Sunday 9 NovemberMorning drizzle patches in the south. Morning cloud in the south clearing to a cool to mild and mostly sunny afternoon. Mild to warm and mostly sunny over the north. Moderate to fresh southwest to southerly winds.Fire Danger -  Moderate to high.Monday 10 NovemberFine apart from isolated showers in the south, mainly near the coast. Cool to mild in the south but mild to warm over the north. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.Tuesday 11 NovemberFine apart from early morning fog patches in the south. Cool to mild in the south but warm over the north. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 12 NovemberFine apart from early morning fog patches in the south.
