MELBOURNE - Nov 7/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation During Saturday a high pressure ridge will weaken across New South Wales and a low pressure trough will move through the western and southeastern parts of the state before stalling over the northeast on Sunday. This trough is expected to weaken during Tuesday as another high moves over southeastern Australia. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayMostly sunny. Hot and dry in the west. Northwesterly winds freshening over the southern inland before a cooler, gusty southwest change later this afternoon and evening, raised dust possible behind the change. East to northeasterly winds over the remainder, strengthening on the southern coast this afternoon before a gusty southerly change on the far south coast tonight.Fire Danger - Severe in Southern Riverina, Very High in Northern Riverina and in Southwestern.Sunday 9 NovemberSlight chance of showers along the southern and central coasts and adjacent tablelands. Possible thunderstorms on the tablelands. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Hot day over the northern inland. Northerly winds in the northeast, with a southerly change extending through the remainder.Monday 10 NovemberSlight chance of showers in the northeast and on the southern half of the coast. The chance of thunderstorms in the far northeast. Partly cloudy in the remainder. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 11 NovemberSlight to medium chance of showers in the northeast and slight chance the southern half of the coast and adjacent ranges.
