Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 6/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over Victoria will drift eastwards to reach the Tasman Sea on Friday. A low pressure trough will cross Victoria on Saturday before another high pressure system moves to the south of Adelaide on Sunday. A cold front will move through Bass Strait during Monday and then the high pressure system will approach Tasmania later.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayFine. Generally light winds and coastal seabreezes.Friday 7 NovemberFine. Generally warm to hot and mostly sunny with light to moderate northerly winds. Milder along the Gippsland coast with afternoon seabreezes.Fire Danger -  High to Very High in the west. Moderate to High in the east.Saturday 8 NovemberWarm to hot over over much of the State with moderate to locally fresh northerly winds. A cooler southwesterly change extending from the southwest during the morning to reach the east during the afternoon and evening. Isolated showers possible with and following the change over southern districts.Sunday 9 NovemberIsolated showers in the southeast during the morning, otherwise fine. Cool to mild in the south but mild to warm over the north. Moderate to fresh southerly winds.Monday 10 NovemberFine apart from isolated showers near the coast. Cool to mild in the south but mild to warm over the north. Moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Friday.Product IDV10310
