MELBOURNE - Nov 5/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system south of Adelaide will drift over Victoria on Thursday before reaching the Tasman Sea on Friday. A low pressure trough will cross Victoria on Saturday before another high pressure system moves to the south of Adelaide on Sunday. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine apart from a possible shower over the far eastern ranges. Moderate to fresh southwest to southerly winds.Thursday 6 NovemberFine. A mild to warm and partly cloudy day with generally light to moderate westerly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger - Moderate to HighFriday 7 NovemberFine. Warm to hot and mostly sunny inland with light to moderate northerly winds. Milder along the Gippsland coast with afternoon seabreezes.Saturday 8 NovemberWarm to hot over over much of the State with moderate to locally fresh northerly winds. A cooler southwesterly change extending from the southwest late morning, reaching the far east at night. Isolated showers possible with and following the change over southern districts.Sunday 9 NovemberIsolated showers in the south during the morning, otherwise fine. Cool to mild in the south but mild to warm over the north.
