Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 5/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards the Queensland coast while a low pressure trough moves through southern and western New South Wales. Unsettled conditions associated with this trough will contract to the northeast during Thursday, as a high near the Bight pushes cooler and drier winds across remaining districts. This high is expected to maintain generally fine and stable weather conditions through the latter part of the week as it drifts eastwards, with high temperatures returning to the inland by Saturday. Another trough is forecast to move through the state later on the weekend.
