Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 2/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over Victoria will move over the Tasman Sea during today. A trough will move over western parts of South Australia during today then over central and eastern parts on Tuesday, followed by another high developing over the Bight on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayFine apart from thundery showers developing over the North West Pastoral district west of Coober Pedy this afternoon. Warm to hot with moderate east to northeasterly winds freshening in the west ahead of a milder southerly change extending over the west of the State during the afternoon, reaching Port Lincoln and Tarcoola late evening.Tuesday 4 NovemberSlight chance of light morning showers about southern and western coasts. Afternoon thundery showers northwest of about Coober Pedy. Warm to hot with northerly winds over eastern parts of the State, shifting milder southerly during the day.Wednesday 5 NovemberFine. Moderate southeasterly winds. Mild to warm about southern coasts, grading to hot to very hot over the north and west.Thursday 6 November
Fine. Moderate southeast to northeasterly winds. Mild to warm about southern coasts, grading to hot to very hot in the north and west.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 2 mm, with local falls of up 15 mm with thunderstorms in the northwest.
Friday until SundayA slight chance of a band of showers extending across the State, apart from the North East Pastoral district, clearing later in the period. Hot to very hot with northeast to northwesterly winds ahead of a milder southerly change extending over SA on Friday and Saturday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
