Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 28/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Bight will move eastwards across South Australia and Victoria to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Thursday. A trough of low pressure will move over South Australia on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdaySlight chance of showers about the Lower South East coast. Cool to mild. Moderate west to southwesterly winds in the south, light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds in the north.Wednesday 29 OctoberA slight chance of morning drizzle about the Lower South East coast. Possible morning fog about the southern agricultural area. Otherwise, fine. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the north. Light winds turning northeast to northwesterly during the afternoon.Thursday 30 OctoberPossible early morning fog about the southeast and Kangaroo Island. Slight chance of afternoon and evening thundery showers west of about Ernabella to Fowlers Bay. Warm to hot. Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds.Friday 31 OctoberThe slight chance of thundery showers extending across the State, apart from the North East Pastoral district. Thunderstorms most likely northwest of Coober Pedy. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds shifting cooler southwesterly during the day.Saturday 1 November
Fine apart from a slight chance of showers about the southern coasts. Cool to mild in the south, grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate southeast to southwesterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Saturday are expected to be less than 3 mm.
Sunday until TuesdayFine and warm to hot at first with winds turning northerly ahead of a cooler southerly change later in the period, bringing a chance of thundery showers to the northwest of the State and a slight chance of showers to the southern coasts.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Wednesday.Product IDS10033
