Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 18/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Tasman Sea will remain near stationary. A weak trough of low pressure over the far west of the State will move over western and southern coastal parts this weekend. Another trough will move over western parts of the State on Monday, then extend slowly across State on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine. Some high cloud in the west, otherwise mostly clear. A warm evening with light to moderate northerly winds, turning south to southeasterly about the Far West coast this evening.Sunday 19 OctoberFine, dry and hot to very hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds, shifting milder south to southeasterly about western and southern coasts.Monday 20 OctoberSlight chance of thundery showers in the far west during the late afternoon and evening. Hot to very hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds, shifting milder southerly in the far west during the day.Tuesday 21 OctoberSlight chance of thundery showers over western districts. Hot to very hot with fresh northerly winds possibly resulting in areas of raised dust. A milder, moderate southerly change extending over western districts during the day.Wednesday 22 October
A slight chance of showers about southern and western coasts. Fine elsewhere. Hot to very hot in the northeast with light winds. A mild to warm southwest to southeasterly change extending throughout during the day.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be negligible.
Thursday until SaturdayThe chance of showers about southern and western coasts, clearing Thursday afternoon. Fine otherwise. Mild to warm southeasterly winds, turning hot northeasterly from the west later in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
