Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 11/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1020 hPa over the Bight will weaken overnight ahead of a cold front tracking across South Australia on Sunday. Another high will develop south of the Bight early next week, and move only slowly eastwards.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine. Cool in the south, grading to warm in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Sunday 12 OctoberEarly morning fog patches over the agricultural area. A slight chance of showers developing over the southern agricultural area during the late afternoon and evening. Mild to warm in the south, grading to warm to hot in the north. Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds shifting moderate to fresh southwest to southerly during the day.Monday 13 OctoberA high chance of showers about southern coasts and the Lower South East district, with possible thunderstorms and small hail, decreasing to a slight chance of showers over the northern agricultural area. Showers easing and contracting to southern coasts and ranges during the afternoon. Cool to cold in the south, grading to warm in the far north. Moderate to fresh southerly winds.Tuesday 14 OctoberEarly morning frost patches over the agricultural area and south of the Pastoral districts. A slight chance of showers about southern coasts contracting to the Lower South East district later in the day, clearing in the evening. Cool to mild with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 15 October
Early morning frost patches over the agricultural area and south of the Pastoral districts. A slight chance of showers in the Lower South East. Mild in the south grading to warm in the north and west. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 1 to 5 mm about the southern agricultural area, with less than 1 mm elsewhere, mostly occurring on Monday. Isolated falls of 5 to 10 mm are possible about the southern coasts and ranges.
Thursday until SaturdayThe slight chance of showers over southern coasts and the Lower South East on Thursday, then fine. Mild in the south, grading to warm elsewhere, with temperatures rising throughout on Friday and Saturday as winds tend northerly from the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
