Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 28/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak ridge of high pressure is over the State, and a front will move over the south early on Tuesday, followed by a strong high developing over the Bight later Tuesday. This high will move slowly eastwards to be centred south of Kangaroo Island late Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayEarly morning fog patches over the West Coast, Eyre Peninsula, Mid North and northern Yorke Peninsula. Isolated light showers near southern coasts and ranges in the morning. Mild grading to hot in the far north with moderate northwest to southwesterly winds easing, becoming light and variable in the north during the day.Tuesday 30 SeptemberEarly morning fog patches west of Nullarbor. Isolated showers about the southern agricultural area, tending scattered about the Lower South East. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending moderate to fresh southwest to northwesterly in the south.Wednesday 1 OctoberFine apart a slight chance of showers about the Lower South East, more likely about the coastal area. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the far north. Light to moderate southeast to southwesterly winds.Thursday 2 October
The chance of showers in the Lower South East, clearing during the afternoon. Mild in the south grading to hot in the north and the west. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending east to northeasterly in the north.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 2 mm over the southern agricultural area, possibly increasing to 2 to 5 mm in the Lower South East. No rain is expected over the remainder.
Friday until SundayThe chance of showers in the far west developing on Friday, extending eastwards on Saturday, then contracting to the agricultural area on Sunday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Monday.Product IDS10033
