Weather Situation A vigorous front will move across the State on Sunday, followed by a high pressure system, which will be centred over the Bight mid-week. Forecast for the rest of SundayWindy. Sunny and warm to hot with fresh to strong and gusty north to northwesterly winds, reaching gale force at times, ahead of a milder, fresh and gusty west to southwesterly change extending from the west during the day, moderating during the evening. Areas of raised dust about the southern Pastoral and Flinders districts, and the northern agricultural area. Chance of showers developing about Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East during the evening.Monday 29 SeptemberEarly morning fog patches in the agricultural area and the West Coast. Isolated showers near southern coasts and ranges, clearing later in the day. Mild grading to hot in the far north with moderate northwest to southwesterly winds easing, becoming light and variable in the north during the day.Tuesday 30 SeptemberChance of isolated showers south of Port Lincoln to Adelaide to Bordertown, more likely over the Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East. Early morning fog patches about the West Coast and western parts of Eyre Peninsula. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending moderate to fresh southwest to northwesterly in the south.Wednesday 1 October Early morning fog patches over the Eyre Peninsula. A slight chance of showers about the Lower South East coast early in the morning, otherwise fine. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the far north. Light to moderate southeast to southwesterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm over the southern agricultural area, possibly increasing to 2 to 5 mm in the Lower South East. No rain is expected over the remainder.
