Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 19/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of Adelaide will move slowly eastwards and will cross Victoria during Sunday and Monday. The high will reach the Tasman Sea on Tuesday as a low pressure system develops over the Bight.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPartly cloudy in the south with isolated showers clearing during the late afternoon. Isolated snow showers above 1200 metres. Mostly sunny in the north. Early inland frost then a cool day with light to moderate southerly winds.Saturday 20 SeptemberPartly cloudy in the south with isolated showers near the coast, clearing during the afternoon. Mostly sunny in the north. Early frost inland then a cool to mild day with light to moderate southerly winds.Sunday 21 SeptemberIsolated showers possible about the far east Gippsland coast during the morning. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frost then a mild day with light southerly winds, a little cooler near the coast with afternoon seabreezes.Monday 22 SeptemberSunny. A mild to warm day with light north to northwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Friday.Product IDV10310
