Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 19/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of Kangaroo Island will move slowly eastwards to be centred over Victoria on Sunday, and over the east coast on Monday. A low pressure trough will approach the western border later on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayHigh cloud across the Pastoral districts with possible isolated thundery showers northwest of about Nullarbor to Marree. Early morning frosts over the southeast. A mild day over the agricultural area grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Saturday 20 SeptemberEarly morning frost patches over the Riverland, Murraylands and South East districts. Possible early fog in the Lower South East. High cloud over the Pastoral districts with the slight chance of showers and thunder north of about Woomera, contracting eastwards and clearing by the end of the day. Mild to warm with light to moderate northeast to southeast winds.Sunday 21 SeptemberFine. Early frost patches over the Murraylands and South East districts. Generally mild to warm with light to moderate east to northeasterly winds.Monday 22 September
Fine apart from the chance of showers northeast of Moomba in the afternoon and evening. Warm grading to hot near the western border. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, fresh in the west
Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning to midnight Monday are expected to be less than 2 mm across the Pastoral districts.
Tuesday until ThursdayThe slight chance of showers extending from the west. Generally warm grading to hot in the far north and west. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, fresh at times, tending southwest to westerly in the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Friday.Product IDS10033
